eBay Vintage B&L Ray Ban Vagabond Red White Blue Sport Sunglasses True vintage B&L Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb USA Vagabond sport sunglasses circa 1970’s. Made in USA. Unisex. See measurements below. A true classic that never goes out of style. New old stock and never worn, but have imperfections from 50+ years of storage as noted in description below and shown in photos. No case is included with this listing. Cases are available for purchase upon request. Inquire if interested. Please note that colors may differ slightly in real life due to differences in device/monitor settings and lighting conditions. Photos are of the exact pair you will receive. I use photo layouts to show max number of angles, but only 1 pair is being sold in this listing. RayBan Bausch & Lomb dark green gray G31 full mirror mineral glass lenses. The lenses are pre-B&L etching, non-prescription and ready for wear with 100% UV protection. There are imperfections to the mirror of both lenses. Please see closeup photos. The left lens has a few vertical short 1mm vertical marks. The right lens has a short 1.5mm horizontal mark and a smudge near the hinge. The marks are not scratches and were not a nuisance to me when worn. There may be short and light hairline scratches, but none of note were observed. Retro cool acetate/nylon frame features layers of coordinating patriotic red, white, and royal blue hues. Sculpted clear acetate nose rests. Frame finish is nice and shiny and no shrinkage is observed. There may be hairline scratches to the acetate frame from storage, but no scratches of note. Temples have been hand polished. A silver Ray-Ban logo emblem adorns each temple. The inside of the right temple is impressed with B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A. The inside of the left temple is impressed with VAGABOND. Hinges operate well and all metal parts been hand polished with a precious metals polishing cloth. Screws are removable. No corrosion or rusting observed. The face frame and temples can be heated up and adjusted by an optician for the perfect fit. I always recommend seeing a pro for a custom fitting — we’re all different and it can make a huge difference in the fit, comfort, and appearance. Approximate measurements: Frame Length: 145mm Frame Height: 54mm Hinge to Hinge: 135mm Temple Length: 140mm Lens Height: 48mm Lens Width: 56mm measured horizontally Lens Width: 62mm measured diagonally IMPORTANT PLEASE READ Fit: I recommend a custom fitting with an optician, optometrist, or other equivalent. The temples can be heated up to provide you with an optimal, customized fit. Lenses can also be replaced with prescription lenses. Do not attempt to make adjustments on your own! If done improperly you can cause irreparable damage. I don’t take returns and especially cannot be of assistance if any adjustments (professional or otherwise) have been made or attempted. Cleaning and Care: I recommend using a hard or semi-hard case for storage and optimal protection. Rinse glasses with cool water if they become dusty and allow them to dry before cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth and lens cleaner. Never clean with a dry cloth alone. Do not leave sunglasses in direct sunlight and/or extreme temperatures for extended periods of time, such as a car glovebox. Hinges and emblems may be polished with a silver polishing cloth. They may be lubricated with WD-40 if needed. Condition: These are vintage sunglasses and my family has been the only owner. They are not perfect. Do not expect perfection or you will be disappointed. They are 50+ years old and are in excellent vintage condition. They have never been worn. They almost certainly need a proper fitting by an eye specialist. Condition is subjective and based on my personal expertise, but is still an option on nonetheless. Evaluation of condition takes into consideration the condition of a given pair relative to others of the same or similar model, from the same time period and brand.
