THIS IS PREMIUM MATERIAL THAT IS BRIGHT AND CHATOYANT AND WILL TAKE A GREAT POLISH! I picked out a really huge hunk of «premo» gold tigereye and hematite for this auction. It is dense and solid and will take a super polish. This hunk totals 4 pounds, 8.2 ounces in weight. It is about 6.5″x5″ and about 1.5″ thick. So you will be able to get many slabs and a pot full of cabs out of the slabs. The material is very solid and very chatoyant and a nice honey golden yellow color. Some of the outside edges do have a thin coating but can easily be ground or sanded off in a minute or so. It has bands of hematite running through it that will polish to a silver metalic shine. It will take a great polish and should yield many slabs and many really nice large cabs! As far as I can tell there are no fractures in the material and it can be worked quite easily. You will look a long time before you find a nicer hunk of this material! I am listing this rough hunk at a price of $26.99 which figures out to about $6 a pound and it should be well worth the price. You won’t be unhappy with this piece. Look at the pictures which were taken with the hunk wet inside with a light shining down from above in my shop! Then decide for yourself what it is worth. I most likely will ship all my pieces USPS priority mail with tracking.
