THIS LOT IS A COLLECTION OF POSTAGE STAMPS FROM NORTH BORNEO — 30 DIFFERENT, READY FOR IMMEDIATE USE IN PLACING THE STAMPS IN YOUR ALBUM. This collection contains postage stamps from NORTH BORNEO— 30 DIFFERENT, mostly used, and is a comprehensive introduction to this country’s philately. The collection is strongest through the 1980s, although there might be a few stamps from later years. Kindly keep in mind that there were many fewer stamps issued through the 1980s than presently exist, therefore, the value of this collection is greater than a contemporary collection of equal size, but including stamps readily available today. Also, this is not a commercial ‘packet’, but rather a collection from our stock built over a 60-year period, hence, once sold, it cannot be duplicated. The stamps shown in the photo are just a few of the stamps from the actual collection, if any information is desired we invite your inquiry.This collection is prepared for the stamp collector, and all of the stamps are listed in the Scott standard catalog. Although stamps of similar appearance may be included, they are different due to perforation, overprint, watermark, or other variation, and are all listed in the Scott catalog. The overall quality and value of the collection is very high, including dollar values and above — it has been screened for the removal of damaged stamps and they are clean of paper remnants. This collection is ready for immediate use and placement into your albums. However, we do ask for your understanding in one regard. There is a tremendous amount of time and effort required to assemble this type of comprehensive collection, and a damaged or a heavily cancelled stamp will on occasion be missed, or, the count could be high or low by a few stamps — this is all possible when dealing in such large numbers of stamps. Although unlikely, this could happen, and would not change the overall value to warrant returning the unit. Collections are not returnable as it would not be possible to guarantee high quality without going through the entire collection once again.
