This is an old document, undated, but probablywritten around the year 1810 or so. The document is handwritten, and is a receiptfor payment from a man named Capt. Eatonto a man named Joshua Abbot. The first man may have been Jabez Eaton (1752-1837),who is buried in Eaton Cemetery, in South Danville, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. But this isonly a guess. However, he did likely belong to the same Eaton family. The other man may have been the Joshua Abbot(1740-1815) who is buried in the Old North Cemetery in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. But again, this is only a guess. The document is about 4″ by 6″, and is in good condition, with moderate wear. Shipping is FREE within the USA via USPS First Class Mail. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
