(Internal #CA20-197) Excellent side-view cameo of an African American woman. New, molded from resin, this is a large cameo pin/pendant in BLACK color with BROWN BURGUNDY background, mounted on oval Art Deco style brass with daisy side accent brass, pin/pendant is 3-1/4″ long x 2″ wide. Cameo itself is 1-5/8″ long x 1-1/4″ wide or 40 x 30 mm. Clasp pin/pendant glued horizontally on the back (see last photo for an example). Superb detail down to the texture of her hair, and face! I know because I do half the work in creating the cameos. Comes with information card. The theme of African American women in cameos is RARE, there is mention of this in the book «Cameos Old & New (2nd Edition) by Anna M. Miller, G.G. (I recommend the book for anyone collecting cameos). We’ve handled THOUSANDS of cameos ourselves, searching out new cameos all over the U.S. and Europe, and we only have FOUR types African American cameos available to us (one is now out of production).
