The locket is rather large and is such a lovely statement piece! The chain is gold filled. It looks to be in good functioning condition with a bit of verdigris/dirt mainly on the interior of the locket. The glass cameo could use a gentle cleaning. The black/dark areas of the face/neck do not appear to be breaks as it does not go through. It’s natural indentions from the glass mold. Buyer to determine type and condition from photos. A gorgeous item from a collectors estate! It has a functioning clasp. It’s is good, vintage condition with natural marks/inclusions that are typical of the making process and/or wear from age. Please see all of the photos and judge the type and condition for yourself. All antique/vintage items are sold AS IS and may show signs of typical wear for their age. I did not clean this piece. Thanks for looking! : ) The chain measures close to 15 inches long from end to end including the clasp. The center locket hangs just over 2 inches.
